Welcome to GolfClubPrice.com (also referred to as “ClubCompass”). These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, applications, and services (collectively, the “Service”). The Service is operated by ClubCompass LLC (“ClubCompass,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Definitions

For purposes of these Terms:

  • “Buyer” means a user who purchases an item through the Service.
  • “Seller” means a user or business approved by us to list and sell items through the Service.
  • “Listing” means an item offered for sale on the Service.
  • “Item” means the product(s) listed for sale (e.g., golf clubs and related golf equipment that we allow).
  • “Order” means a Buyer’s purchase of a Listing through the Service.
  • “Transaction” means the commercial exchange between Buyer and Seller for an Item through the Service.
  • “Platform Fee” means any fee we charge for providing the Service (if applicable), disclosed during onboarding, in Seller settings, at checkout, or otherwise presented in the Service.
  • “Affiliate Link” means a tracking link to a third-party retailer or service that may earn us a commission if you click or purchase.
  • “Payment Processor” means our third-party payment provider(s) used to process payments and payouts.
  • “Acceptance Window” means the period after delivery in which a Buyer may report an issue (as defined below).

2) Who We Are and What We Provide

ClubCompass provides:

  • Pricing and market information (e.g., ranges, percentiles, comparisons), which may include sample/demo, tracked, or limited datasets.
  • A marketplace platform where approved Sellers can list Items for sale and Buyers can purchase Items.
  • Links to third-party retailers and services, including Affiliate Links.

ClubCompass does not manufacture Items. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, ClubCompass is not the Seller of marketplace Items. The Seller is responsible for the Listing, the Item, and fulfillment.

3) Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into these Terms.

We may refuse service to anyone, and we may restrict certain features until you meet verification requirements.

4) Accounts and Security

You may need an account to use parts of the Service. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information;
  • Keep your login credentials secure; and
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5) Marketplace Transactions (How Buying and Selling Works)

5.1 Seller Approval and Listings

Sellers may create Listings only after being approved by ClubCompass. Listings must be accurate and include (where applicable):

  • Brand/model/variant;
  • Condition and any defects;
  • Specs (e.g., loft, hand, shaft, flex);
  • Photos (if required);
  • Price; and
  • Shipping details.

We may remove Listings that violate these Terms or our policies.

5.2 Orders and Acceptance

When a Buyer places an Order, the Buyer agrees to pay the listed price plus any applicable taxes, shipping, and fees displayed at checkout.

We may cancel an Order for reasons including suspected fraud, policy violations, pricing errors, or Seller inability to fulfill.

5.3 Payment Collection and Release of Seller Payouts

Buyer payments are processed by a Payment Processor. By placing an Order, the Buyer authorizes ClubCompass and/or the Payment Processor to charge the Buyer’s payment method for the amount shown at checkout.

ClubCompass facilitates payment collection and payout in connection with marketplace Orders. Where permitted, ClubCompass may act as a limited payment agent of the Seller solely for the purpose of collecting and remitting payments for completed Orders. This does not change that the Seller remains responsible for the Item and fulfillment.

ClubCompass may hold Buyer payments until the Item is marked delivered by a reliable carrier with tracking and the Buyer confirms receipt/acceptance, or the Acceptance Window elapses without a reported issue.

Acceptance Window: Unless otherwise stated in the Service for a specific Order, the Buyer has 72 hours from carrier-confirmed delivery to report an issue, such as wrong item received, Item materially not as described, suspected counterfeit, missing major components, or significant undisclosed damage. If no issue is reported within the Acceptance Window, the Item is deemed accepted and ClubCompass may release payout to the Seller.

Seller Payout Timing: Payouts are typically initiated within 3–5 business days after acceptance. Actual availability of funds depends on the Payment Processor and the Seller’s payout method.

Disputes and Holds: If a dispute is opened, ClubCompass may delay or suspend payout until the dispute is resolved.

5.4 Fees

ClubCompass may charge Platform Fees and/or payment processing-related fees. Any fees applicable to an Order will be disclosed during Seller onboarding, in Seller settings, and/or at checkout.

Sellers are responsible for their own costs of doing business (inventory, shipping supplies, insurance, taxes, etc.) unless ClubCompass explicitly states otherwise.

5.5 Shipping, Tracking, and Fulfillment

Unless ClubCompass states otherwise:

  • Sellers are responsible for packaging and shipping Items to Buyers.
  • Sellers must ship within 2 business days after Order confirmation (unless a different timeframe is stated on the Listing or agreed with the Buyer).
  • Sellers must use a trackable shipping method and provide valid tracking information.
  • Sellers must package Items safely and appropriately to prevent damage in transit.

Failure to ship on time or provide tracking may lead to cancellation, disputes, reduced visibility, suspension, or removal from the marketplace.

5.6 Cancellations

Seller cancellations may lead to penalties, reduced visibility, suspension, or removal from the marketplace.

Buyer cancellations are not guaranteed once an Order is placed, especially after shipment. Any cancellation options will be displayed during checkout or in the Buyer’s order page.

5.7 Returns, Refunds, and Disputes

Return eligibility and refund rules may vary by category, condition, Listing terms, and Seller policies, and will be displayed at checkout or on the order page.

At minimum, Buyers may report problems such as:

  • Item not received;
  • Wrong item received;
  • Item materially not as described;
  • Suspected counterfeit.

ClubCompass may require evidence (photos, serial numbers, packaging images, etc.) and may facilitate communication and resolution. Final outcomes may depend on the Payment Processor’s rules and applicable law.

If a return is approved, the Buyer may be required to return the Item using tracked shipping; and a refund may be issued after the Item is received and inspected.

Chargebacks and Payment Processor disputes may override or affect outcomes. You agree to cooperate in good faith with investigations.

6) Seller Obligations (Marketplace Rules)

By applying to sell and/or listing Items on the Service, Sellers agree to:

  • Authenticity: Do not list counterfeit items. You must be able to substantiate authenticity upon request.
  • Accurate Condition: Condition descriptions must be accurate and not misleading. Disclose major flaws, modifications, aftermarket parts, and missing components.
  • Fulfillment: Ship on time with tracking and proper packaging.
  • Support: Respond to Buyer inquiries and disputes within 2 business days.
  • Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and carrier rules.
  • Prohibited Items: Do not list prohibited items (see Section 10).
  • Taxes: You are responsible for determining and fulfilling your tax obligations. ClubCompass may be required to collect/report certain tax information where applicable.

ClubCompass may suspend or terminate Seller privileges for violations, repeated disputes, excessive cancellations, suspected fraud, or misuse.

7) Buyer Obligations

Buyers agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipping information;
  • Pay all amounts due at checkout;
  • Inspect Items promptly upon delivery; and
  • Report issues within the Acceptance Window.

Misuse of disputes, false claims, or abusive behavior may result in account restrictions.

8) Pricing and Valuation Information Disclaimer

Any price ranges, percentiles, “market price,” comparisons, or other valuation information provided by the Service is for informational purposes only and may be based on sample/demo data, tracked affiliate activity, limited datasets, or other sources.

ClubCompass does not guarantee that any Item will sell at a particular price, that valuations reflect full-market activity, or that data is complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for your own pricing, buying, and selling decisions.

9) Affiliate Links and Third-Party Retailers

The Service may display Affiliate Links to third-party retailers or services. If you click an Affiliate Link or make a purchase through it, ClubCompass may earn a commission (unless disclosed otherwise).

ClubCompass does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their products, services, availability, pricing, policies, or any losses arising from your use of third-party sites. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their terms and policies.

10) Prohibited Conduct and Prohibited Items

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for illegal purposes;
  • Misrepresent identity, item condition, authenticity, or pricing;
  • Attempt to circumvent fees or the payment flow;
  • Scrape, harvest, or misuse data without permission;
  • Interfere with security features or attempt unauthorized access; or
  • Upload malware or abusive content.

Prohibited Items include (non-exhaustive):

  • Counterfeit goods or items of uncertain origin;
  • Stolen items;
  • Items that violate applicable law;
  • Any item ClubCompass deems unsafe, fraudulent, or inappropriate for the marketplace.

ClubCompass may remove content, cancel Orders, and suspend accounts for violations.

11) User Content, Reviews, and Submissions

You may submit content (e.g., Listings, text, images, reviews, messages) (“User Content”). You represent you have the rights to submit it.

You grant ClubCompass a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and modify User Content for operating, improving, and promoting the Service.

ClubCompass may remove User Content that violates these Terms or our policies.

12) Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to ClubCompass and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.

13) Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy: https://golfclubprice.com/privacy

By using the Service, you consent to our processing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

14) Communications

You agree that ClubCompass may contact you electronically regarding:

  • Orders, receipts, shipping updates;
  • Seller application status;
  • Account notices; and
  • Service updates.

You can opt out of marketing communications as described in messages, but you may still receive transactional emails.

15) Termination and Suspension

ClubCompass may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, pose risk to other users, or for operational/security reasons.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions (including limitation of liability and indemnification) survive termination.

16) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLUBCOMPASS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

CLUBCOMPASS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

17) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CLUBCOMPASS OR ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

CLUBCOMPASS’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CLUBCOMPASS (IF ANY) IN THE 6 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

18) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClubCompass LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the Service; your Listings, Items, or Transactions; your violation of these Terms; or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

19) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, USA, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

20) Changes to These Terms

ClubCompass may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date and may provide additional notice. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
